The Law.

Vehicles without seat belts:

Children under 3 must be in a child car seat. If there’s no seat belt, they can’t travel. Chauffeurs  will refuse to take children under three unless they are traveling in one of our modern vehicles with seat belts.

Proms and special occasions:

Please be aware that many unlicensed  wedding hire  companies are operating illegally  by offering their service for school proms and special occasion work. It's is near to impossible to licence a vintage car for private hire work. The law states wedding cars and funeral cars are exempt from being licenced so long as you only do wedding and funerals. In the event of a accident you would not be covered   by insurance.
